Florida – Flagler County officials announce that State Road 100 Pedestrian Bridge will open on Sept.19 to the public. They also invite Flagler residents to take part in the grand opening that will be held at 3:30 p.m. on the same date. The Board of County Commissioners approved the project in 2018, while the designing phase started for around $ 1.5 million. According to the new release, the bridge costs about 12 million dollars, and the budget largely comes from federal and state grant funding.

While Heidi Petito, County Administrator, expresses his cheerfulness about the achievement, he states, “I’ve been out there and have had the pleasure of meeting people on the trail enjoying the new addition. He also reports how residents react and show their gratitude for this project.
