Years over years journalism has been improving. What we have as journalism is not what it was 100 years ago. How that happens? So let bring up some differences between journalism 20th century and journalism 21st century.

The journalism is always describing as a process which build up with many separate steps. Even with the simplest definition of journalism the entire process still appears. Therefore, the evolution of science impacted and incited some changes over the tools and methods using by journalist to perform their task.

if journalism consists of gathering information, editing, and broadcasting the output, so with the new technologies every step (included tools) in the process has been improving, for example:

Journalism 20th century: reporters used only notebook to take note, analog recorder and reporter had to leave his desk to get an interview. Radio, TV, and Newspapers share the audience while the TV was on top media with the most viewers. Any time some news is broadcasting it take a little time to reach out a thousand of people at the same time and required a big team to work on it. Journalism 21st century: reporters used notebook or/and smartphone to take notes. For recording audio reporter used digital recorder or his smartphone and he no longer to leave his desk to do an interview because many option are available. He could use zoom on his computer or direct video call with a smartphone. Radio, TVs, and Newspapers have a small audience because the internet included the online medias has the most viewers. Now anytime some news is broadcasting in a few second it could reach out millions of people throughout the internet cause now all users are directly connected at the source
