Tampa, FL., May 16, 2025 – GHACC, the Greater Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Tampa, announced the Haitian Flag Day festival last month. This event will start from 02:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m., at the Al Lopez Park on May 18, 2025. Haitian-American talents from the community will be on stage to infuse an atmosphere of celebration into attendees’ hearts.
The organization has mobilized local officials, professionals, and businesses to offer this unique time to commemorate the 222nd year of the Haitian Flag. According to Esther Germain, President of GHACC of Tampa, this celebration is about Haitian resilience, culture, and pride. “We will honor our roots and show our love for Haiti.” She adds. “Tampa Bay community will have the opportunity to experience Haitian cuisine and music flavors.”
The Haitian community of Tampa has posted a few events for Haitian Heritage Month, including the May 18 Haitian flag celebration. This moment will be an opportunity to history and significance of the Haitian flag.
